Now Hiring: Fall Clean-Up Crew Members

Pay : $25/hour
Schedule: October 21 or November 2– November 25, 2026 (may end as early as November 20 depending on project completion)
Hours: ~6 to 8 hours per day, Monday - Friday (some days may be slightly shorter or longer)

Job Description

We are hiring seasonal crew members to join our Fall Clean-Up team. The role involves clearing out vegetable gardens of spent plants and applying a layer of compost to prepare gardens for winter. Work is performed in small teams of three under the direction of a team lead. Crew members will rotate between garden sites across the Seattle/Bellevue/Kirkland/Redmond area and may also assist with loading bulk materials or dumping yard waste at the end of the day.

This is fast-paced, physical outdoor work in all types of weather conditions. We’re looking for reliable, hardworking team players who take direction well and work efficiently.

Job Responsibilities

• Remove and dispose of spent vegetable plants from garden sites

• Apply compost evenly across garden beds

• Assist with loading/unloading bulk materials and dumping yard waste as needed

• Work cooperatively with teammates and follow instructions from the team lead

• Travel between garden locations and material sites as directed (mileage between work sites reimbursed at $0.70/mile; commute mileage not included)

Job Requirements

• Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs throughout the workday

• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)

• Reliable personal vehicle for transportation to various work sites.

• Ability to arrive on time and meet at designated locations with the team lead

• Strong teamwork skills; able to take direction and maintain efficiency

• Fast-paced worker with attention to quality and safety
